Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is recruiting Director of Nursing for a single-story access, purpose-built facility, with internal landscaped courtyards, set on two acres of landscaped gardens in Co.

The Director of Nursing, will be responsible for overseeing the clinical and administrative functions of the nursing home, striving to fulfil our Vision That Residents have an opportunity to live fulfilled and engaged lives, while also ensuring that the highest standards of care are delivered to residents and that all regulatory requirements are met.

• Minimum 3 Years of experience as registered nurse in the last 6 years in care of the older person.
• Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Post registration in management qualification (QQI Level 6 minimum).
• Working knowledge of HIQA standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Excellent Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills.
• Sound decision making ability and results driven.
• To provide support, advice, and guidance to the Home by way of an on-call arrangement.
• To co-manage and support all departments including nursing, household, maintenance, and catering staff.
• Good appreciation of finance issues.
• Ability to motivate self and others and work on own initiative.
• Ability to work well and promote a team environment.
• Willingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the company.
