The Senior Occupational Therapist is a key member of the Autism Specialist MTD Team, providing comprehensive assessments and reports to families in Clare, Limerick, and North Tipperary.
Assessment Process
The assessment process involves document review, clinical interviews, observations, and comprehensive reporting. The post holder must adhere to PSI guidelines for ASD assessment and deliver diagnosis based on DSM-V or ICD-11 criteria.
They will work across various settings, including home, clinic, and school, with a team of experienced clinicians. The Senior Psychologist, Speech & Language Therapist, and Occupational Therapist collaborate to deliver high-quality services.
The post holder must meet specific qualifications, training criteria, and maintain clinical accountability overseen by the Head of Clinical Services. This ensures compliance with assessment protocols and local legislation.
