    The A to Z Manager Experiences team owns surfacing manager experiences and journeys to Amazonians from a single unified platform through federated development.

    As part of the team, you will focus on the technical design, development, delivery and operational excellence of this area.

    You will also work on the long term strategy of onboarding new journeys into the system.

    A day in the life
    Our team owns multiple different products and services. We have the autonomy to utilise different technology solutions that best fit the specific use case.

    As part of our team, you will get to work on an exciting range of projects spanning across highly available services, big data processing solutions and web/native mobile development.

    We do not expect that you are well versed in all of these. Training and up-skilling opportunities are available, and encouraged on a regular basis.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience (noninternship) in professional software development
    • Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
    • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
    • Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
    • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
    • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including objectoriented design
    • Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
