    We are hiring a Control and Reporting Financial Accountant to join our team in Cork on a permanent basis.

    The role offers an exciting opportunity to join our Financial Reporting Team based in Cork and engage and business partner with our wider Sector Teams through the management and completion of the franchise reporting for the Beverage Business. The team would manage the P&L and Balance Sheet reporting across our International Sectors Europe, AMESA & APAC and ensure the correct policies and procedures are followed on the completion of the month end and year end financials.

    Responsibilities

    The role is responsible for the Franchise Reporting for the AMESA/APAC Sector and part of the overall Franchise Reporting Team. The role encompasses the following responsibilities:

  • Business Partner to the AMSA/APAC Sector Franchise Business Units:
  • Supporting the teams through the month end/year end close processes.
  • Managing P&L & Balance Sheet reporting for 35+ countries and queries that arise.
  • Managing the Advertising & Marketing reporting for the AMESA/APAC Franchise Business.
  • Ensuring the accurate reporting of G&A for the AMESA/APAC Franchise BUs
  • Liaising with the HFM reporting team to ensure accurate US GAAP reporting for the AMESA/APAC Sector.
  • Managing the regulatory & compliance requirements
  • Key contact for the external audit of the Advertising & Marketing spend, and ensuring all audit queries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • GCS Control Owner for the Advertising & Marketing Controls.
  • Manage the SAP system set ups for PO hierarchies to ensure the 3-way match process is ran efficiently in the AMESA/APAC Sector.
  • Ensure completion of all Balance Sheet Reconciliations on Blackline on a timely manner.
  • Other Advertising & Marketing process requirements
  • Manage and maintain the WBS budgets and communicate the WBS codes to the Sector contacts.
  • Maintain the Advertising & Marketing reports generated from Business Objectives, ensuring accurate reporting is being issued to the Sector.
  • Lead improvements in processes, specifically focusing on Data & Analytics to provide 1) improved analyst on actuals and 2) support simplification within the Sectors processes.
  • Train new team members internally and externally in the Sector on the Advertising & Marketing processes
  • Actively participate in projects across the Controls and Reporting team (such as process improvements), to drive efficiencies and assist in the delivery of objectives.
  • Assist in the PGCS Balance Sheet Review process and actively remediate actions assigned to the AMESA/APAC Sector and assist the Sector with BU Balance Sheet Reviews.
  • Actively participate in new supply chain processes that impact the AMESA/APAC Sector and be the Controls representee to ensure the process is set up correctly and in line with the model.
  • Qualifications

    Essential Skills:

  • ACA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Ability to work effectively to deadlines.
  • Experience working with Enterprise, Resourcing, and Planning (ERP) Systems and Databases – SAP / Business Objects/HFM.
  • Demonstrate a strategic mindset, with an ability to take into consideration the "bigger picture"
  • Stakeholder focused – managing expectations across a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external to PGCS.
  • Proven track record in applying business judgment, through experience and insights gained in large projects and through the analysis of issues from a business logic perspective.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines, while at the same time displaying good judgement and business decision making skills.
  • Driven to delivery productivity, and process improvement while continuing to apply strategic perspective.
  • For the purposes of external advertising we have called this role a Control & Reporting Financial Account. However please note that the internal job title the successful candidate will have will be Cntrl & Rpt Assoc Analyst .
