    Responsibilities

  • Electronic product design - responsible for complete product architecture breakdown into various elements and collaboration with element design experts
  • Engagement with customers to discuss new products and present evolving technical solutions
  • System requirements elicitation and corresponding system architecture documentation and presentations
  • High performance multi-core System-on-Chip, microcontrollers, and peripherals
  • Digital Signal Processing experience - ., video capture, transmission, processing, storage, compression in different format and resolution specs
  • Communication protocols: Ethernet, CAN, LIN, MIPI, I2C, SPI, SerDes
  • Knowledge of software subsystems in embedded products and capability to factor with hardware architecture
  • Engagement with other departments - purchasing, mechanical, hardware, software, test and validation - to ensure optimal project delivery
  • Engagement with project management for scheduling and tracking
  • Continuous innovation - continuous engagement with customers and suppliers to keep abreast of market needs, technology offerings and developments
  • Qualifications

  • Degree in Electronics, Computer, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Skills

  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Proactive engineer with good communications and presentation skills
  • People management skills - introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other, encouraging mentoring and the transfer of knowledge by designing and delivering learning interventions
  • Team work and emotional intelligence
  • Good self-management – continuous performance is both an objective and a mind-set
  • Has an innovative approach – a bold thinker and doer, matching creativity with vigilance
  • Experience

  • 5+ years of practical experience as System Engineer, System Design Engineer, Product Development Engineer, System/Hardware/Electronics or Software Architect
  • Experience operating in highly regulated environment such as: medical tech, automotive, defence, aerospace, communications, or consumer electronics industries
  • Experience operating in multi-disciplinary Research and Development environment, completing projects for high-volume manufacture.
  • Experience working on international projects
