Software Tester - Limerick, Ireland - Test Triangle

Location: Dublin, Limerick or Castlebar, hybrid working approach, a blend of working on‐site and remotely
within Ireland

Contract: Rolling contract, Long Term or FTE or Permanent with Test Triangle Ltd

Experience Level Required:

· Previous experience on a arrange of client facing consultancy projects, preferable in both the private and the public sectors.

· Has a theoretical base in the subject area, possibly supplemented through recent study, with the ability to translate theory into practice.

· Performs a variety of analytical tasks requiring independent initiative and knowledge.

· Interacts with clients predominantly at the working level.

· Likely to have 2 to 3 years of notable professional experience in their specialized field.

Client Technology Stack:

Experience in Working on engagements with similar technologies.

Key Deliverable:

The following non-exhaustive list of Key Deliverables, are applicable to the Software Testing role:

1. User Interface and/or B2B software testing.

2. Review functional design specifications.

3. Write detailed acceptance criteria (A/C) ensuring QA compliant.

4. Identify data requirements for testing.

5. Peer review A/C from other team members.

6. Execute test criteria.

7. Raise defects (Bugs) to development team.

8. Adhere to the client's testing processes and documentation standards.

9. Support business users during business process testing (BPT).

Requirements

Key Experience/Competencies/Skillsets:

The following Experience/Competencies/Skillsets are applicable to this Role.

· ISTQB Certified Tester.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· SQL/XML/Unix/JSON skills and associated tools.

· Experience of creating acceptance criteria.

· Experience of using Testing Tools including Issue tracking tools.

· Experience in the breadth of different types of testing such as:

Ø System Testing

Ø User Acceptance Testing

· Knowledge of Testing Standards and approaches.

· Ability to operate within Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid methodologies.

· Experience interacting with testers, business owners and users, application development and technical colleagues.
