- Minimum of 3 years' Hotel Sales experience in a target-driven sales environment, ideally in a 4* or 5* Hotel environment
- Proven track record in Weddings & Events, Local & International Sales, and domestic/overseas trade shows.
- Commercial awareness and a good understanding of yield management and rate strategies
- Sales focused, with targets and results being key driving factors.
- Must be a strong self-starter and possess a recognised ability to close the sale.
- Must have the capacity to respond to a fast-paced environment, with a multi-tasking ability in a changing environment.
- Excellent levels of personal motivation and confidence in what they do.
- Effective communicator to clients and colleagues alike, individually and in groups; with the capacity to provide precisely written reports.
- A good organiser with a pro-active approach who seeks out challenges and is driven by success.
