- Design and development of new generation microfluidic products including flow cytometry products and microfluidic products.
- Design and development of mechanical components of microfluidic biochips.
- Participation in research and development projects ongoing on-site, preparation of project reports, documentation, and proposals for new projects.
- Support, quality control and testing of existing line of microfluidic products and products in development.
- Liaising with subcontractors to support manufacturing process including ordering components/ preparing specifications/postproduction QC.
- Assist the rest of engineering team in planning and execution of verification procedures and protocols to identify product specifications.
- M.Sc in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
- Min 3 years experience in designing of microfluidics instrumentation or biochip products.
- Knowledge of medical instrumentation/laboratory equipment will be a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies: injection moulding, vacuum casting, rapid prototyping, ultrasonic welding.
- Solid working knowledge of designing with AutoCAD, Solidworks and COMSOL.
- Track record of design and development of products from models and drawings to prototypes and production.
- Knowledge of data analysis such as Python or Neural Networks

Due to expansion, currently recruiting a Research & Development Engineer with a track record of successful R&D projects - bringing products from concepts to functional prototypes. Knowledge of medical instrumentation/laboratory equipment will be a distinct advantage. Experience designing with AutoCAD, Solidworks and COMSOL preferred.
