An Environmental Area Supervisor is required to join our Limerick based Operations & Maintenance team, reporting to the Operations & Maintenance Area Manager.

This role will involve management of wastewater treatment plants.

A highly varied and challenging role, this position requires a people centric and organised person with a solutions mindset to maintain and prioritise issues at water and wastewater plants.

Schedule & co-ordinate a team of operators. Preventative and corrective maintenance management at the treatment plants and the associated pumping stations. Environmental compliance on all assigned sites. Budget management of operations and capital expenditure. Manage client relationships.

Completing HSQE audits, checking RAMS & SSW of works are carried out and all staff are H&S compliant & safety equipment is maintained.

Key Skills Required:

Proven track record of supervising operational staff Excellent time management and flexibility Fluent English and strong communication skills Good IT skills, Microsoft Excel & Word Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise the urgency of maintaining water and wastewater treatment facilities.

The successful candidate will live in the locality, be able to ensure timely access to the sites within the responsibility of the role.

A full clean driving licence is obligatory. Although not a requirement, a qualification in a related discipline (i.
