• Mechanical Design Engineer for my client, a well established SME, based in the Waterford area.

This is a permanent role offering excellent benefits.

Your new job Key duties & responsibilities:
Overseeing projects from start to finish. Writing technical proposals and estimating costs for customers. Using SolidWorks software to create detailed mechanical designs and drawings. Designing screens and flow diagrams for controlling machines. Analyzing risks associated with machines. Creating documentation to meet GAMP standards. Planning and designing mechanical aspects of new products. Developing testing procedures and validating new designs. Building prototypes for testing and customer demos. Reviewing technical drawings, plans, and specifications. Working with engineering teams, vendors, and contractors What are we looking for? Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 2 years + working in an similar engineering environment. Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD. experience designing mechanical systems and products. Project management experience. Excellent math skills. Strong IT skills.
