Greenkeeper - Sligo, Ireland - Castle Dargan Resort

Castle Dargan Estate is seeking to hire greenkeepers to join the the team.

The ideal candidates would need to have the following skills; Have a high level of attention to detail Be a team player with good communication skills Have experience using machinery, this would be an advantage but not necessary as full training will be provided Have good organisational skills and timekeeping Full clean Driving License Responsibilities include:

Mowing of Greens, Tees, Approaches, Fairways & Rough Bunker Maintenance Course Set Up Be involved in all other aspects of course and grounds maintenance Repairing divots on playing surfaces.

Hand watering and irrigating turf. Identifying and controlling weeds and pests. Identifying and controlling turf diseases and disorders. Marking of hazards, out of bounds and ground under repair. Maintaining bunkers. Renovate worn and damaged turf. Rolling greens with a turf iron or similar.
