Sourcing Specialist

CK/AFUT-170505

Critical Skills and Objectives:

Technical background in chemistry or equivalent
Excellent communication skills
IT literacy

Main Objectives:

Develop customer relations
Establish supplier relations
Familiarize with principal products
Identify best international supply options

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to customer inquiries
Complete Enquiry Forms on time
Maintain Enquiry Log and reconcile customer quality needs
Request suitable offers from suppliers
Provide import duty information and obtain BTIs
Calculate quotation proposals and discuss with Sales Managers
Quote customers when necessary
Obtain orders and ensure ISO compliance
Collaborate with Logistics department
Complete Customer Questionnaires
Update Supply Agreement Contracts Database
Handle complaints with Logistics
Manage samples and conduct ISO inspections

Irregular Tasks:

Gather information for principal reports
Attend relevant exhibitions
Visit principals and suppliers
Accompany Sales Managers on customer visits
Attend supplier quality audits
Contribute to department resources for budget
Propose ISO and SOP improvements
Support Marketing Research for Sales Departments
Participate in Marketing Projects
Assist with document creation for project enquiries
Take part in ISO Audit
Maintain Sourcing Library and attend LWP meetings

Requirements:

Mandatory EU Passport and willingness to work on-site in Tipperary, 5 days a week.
