Maintenance Technician Role

Our organization is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment, troubleshooting issues and performing corrective actions in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine checks of plant machinery and equipment
• Diagnose faults using technical knowledge and appropriate tools
• Perform repairs and adjustments as necessary, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently

The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent mechanical aptitude combined with strong problem-solving skills. You must also have the ability to lift heavy items (up to 20kg) when required.

Essential Requirements:

1. National Craft Certificate (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent technical qualification, such as an apprenticeship,


2. ?At least two years experience within the manufacturing environment preferably working at height in areas where there may be confined spaces involved
   
   As well as holding relevant craft level qualifications you need your own transport for some off site visits - VDS requirements check applied prior appointment


3.
