    The Role Our goal is to create the Industry Cloud for Life Sciences, leveraging cloud technology, data, and consulting to improve efficiency across the industry.

    As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be the subject matter expert on OpenData Clinical data structure, pipeline, and quality.

    You'll ensure data accuracy, align it with product goals, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

    You will analyze large datasets, identify trends, and collaborate with teams across product management, data operations, governance, engineering, and QA to improve data quality and inform decision-making.

    What You'll Do Assure that data quality and compliance meet our high standardsExtract data from databases (e.g., Redshift, Mongo DB)Analyze large data sets and generate insightsIdentify data gaps and quality issues and provide root cause analysisBuild and maintain a technical data model (entity relationship diagram)Create customized reports and dashboards for internal stakeholdersRequirements 3+ years of experience in data analysis or data qualityProven experience managing data analytics projects and reporting to senior managementAdvanced SQL, Python, or R skills for data manipulation and automationProficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Strong communication skills in EnglishBased in Spain or PortugalTechnical background in life sciences data or related fieldsStrong analytical skills with large, complex datasetsDetail-oriented, quick learner with a growth mindsetAbility to work in a fast-paced, remote, international environmentPassionate about data, life sciences, and contributing to a growing tech companyNice to Have Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or relevant certifications in data analysis or life sciencesFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for data storage and analysisFamiliarity with automation tools or workflows to streamline data processingBasic knowledge or experience with machine learning algorithms and applicationsKnowledge of best practices for data governance, quality control, and compliance (e.g., GDPR)Ability to work with diverse teams (e.g., product, engineering, operations) to align data strategies with business objectivesStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues efficientlyProficiency in other languages would be beneficial in an international team environmentPerks & Benefits 1% charitable giving programMedical private insuranceDental CoverIncome protectionPrivate pension planLife insuranceTravel InsuranceFitness reimbursement#RemoteIreland Veeva's headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
