- Play a key role in ensuring the provision of an efficient and effective blood transfusion service for our patients.
- Perform a variety of blood transfusion-related laboratory tests, adhering to strict protocols and quality control measures.
- Assist in the processing and reporting of blood samples, ensuring timely and accurate results.
- Work collaboratively with other laboratory staff and medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of quality management programmes within the blood transfusion department.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in blood transfusion practices and procedures.
- Honours degree in Biomedical Science or a recognised equivalent qualification.
- CORU registration or eligibility for membership upon completion of studies.
- A minimum of two years' experience in a blood transfusion laboratory setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
