    • Responsibility for revenue recognition on forward fund and construction contracts
    • Ownership of a portfolio of entities within the group including responsibility for completion of all month-end functions in the preparation of accurate and timely management reports

    About This Role:

    The Financial Accountant will be assigned the responsibility and accountability for a portfolio of entities in the group.

    The position will support and participate in the monthly, half-year, and annual consolidation and statutory reporting processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the group reporting processes
    • Coordinate and participate in the drafting of the single-entity financial statements
    • Participate in half-year and year-end reporting including financial statement preparation
    • Liaise with the group's internal and external auditors
    • Assist in the preparation of the annual report, the coordination and response to internal audit reviews, and the maintenance and update of the risk register
    • Support the annual and quarterly budgeting and reforecasting processes
    • Partner with departments across the business, provide informative analysis on margin, overhead, and capex variances
    • Review and enhance processes to streamline financial reporting and improve controls
    • Provide input into Finance-related projects, as required

    What Skills You Need:

    • Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA)
    • Experience in the construction industry is a bonus
    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Solver an advantage
    • Ability to work across several workstreams and meet strict deadlines
