    Our client plays a crucial role in global healthcare and have a portfolio of life-changing technologies. They are searching for a Manufacturing Shift Leader to join their team in Donegal Town to support and nurture a team of process leads/ developmental process leaders and operations processors. You also will ensure that production targets and schedules are accomplished while monitoring, implementing and maintaining processes that help increase productivity

    This is a collaborative role within a team of 12 so If you are a strong communicator this is an ideal opportunity for you to further develop your career utilising your leadership and technical skillset.

    Responsibilities

    · Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and performing other duties as assigned by management.

    · Ensure that the manufacturing schedule is met, producing correct volume requirements and product mix annually.

    · Support problem solving of plant and manufacturing equipment to achieve product quality and production schedule goals.

    · Ensure that productivity, quality and cost objectives are achieved.

    · Ensure conformance with all relevant Policies and Procedures.

    · Contributing to the creation of Work Instructions and Operations procedures to maintain compliance.

    · Completion of Performance Excellence Assessments and Development plans to promote continuous improvement.

    · Contribute to Exception Reports that pertain to the Manufacturing department.

    · Commit to ensuring the department conducts its business in a manner designed to be protective of human health, safety, and the environment

    Ideal Candidate

    · A third level qualification in Engineering / Manufacturing / Science / Business or trade certificate in an Engineering discipline.

    · 5 years' experience in a similar environment preferred.

    · Supervisory experience preferred.

    · Strong interpersonal skills

    · An excellent communicator
