DevOps/Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

Utilize Ansible, Terraform, and OpenStack to design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code for efficient deployment and scaling of applications.

Manage Unix/Linux systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Collaborate with development teams to automate the build and deployment processes, promoting continuous integration and delivery.

Construct and maintain servers, ensuring they meet performance and security standards.

Develop and implement automation scripts for the provisioning and configuration of servers and applications.

Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and automation processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and automation.

Implement best practices for version control, code review, and release management.

Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

Proven experience with Ansible, Terraform, Unix/Linux, and OpenStack.

Strong scripting skills with proficiency in shell scripting and automation languages.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience in building and maintaining servers in a production environment.

Knowledge of cloud technologies and infrastructure orchestration.

Ability to collaborate effectively with development and operations teams.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills for documentation and team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Linux).

Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Understanding of network and security principles.
