EHS Manager - Limerick, Ireland - Harmonics

Our client a leading Biotech company has a requirement for an EHS Manager to join the company.

As the successful candidate would perform EHS tasks to ensure companies compliance with Environmental Health and Safety regulatory requirements, policies and procedures as directed by EHS Department Management or Site Lead.

In this role a typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following:
Developing, implementing and monitoring environmental, health & safety programmes to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, government regulations and company standards, policies and values As directed by EHS Department management coordinating and reviewing regulatory compliance documentation and reports to be submitted to outside regulatory agencies and internal audit groups Developing, implementing and maintaining an EHS Management System Programme Working with our other site EHS to share and implement EHS best practices and to work together to achieve Global Responsibility goals Supporting EHS audits and inspections Keeping updated on new and updated EHS regulations, including new industry developments (i.e. best practices) Developing EHS SOPs and Policies for EHS compliance onsite and developing EHS training programme for site Building relationships with key departments to foster support for a strong EHS culture Managing and mentoring EHS Specialists within the EHS team.
