    Data Protection & Compliance Co-Ordinator
    Reporting to: QCRS Operations Manager
    Purpose of the role:
    As a Data Protection & Compliance Co-Ordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our company remains compliant with GDPR and other applicable data protection legislation. You will be responsible for maintaining and continually developing our Data Protection and Compliance processes, providing support for management of Data Protection and Compliance risk across the business.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Data Protection
    • You will serve as the first point of contact for employees and line managers for all Data Protection issues, escalating matters where necessary in accordance with company policies and procedures.
    • You will administer the Data Protection system, Privacy Engine.
    • You will respond to subject access requests and deletion requests within agreed targets and legal timeframes.
    • You will maintain a log of data protection breaches or near misses, along with remedial recommendations and actions.
    • You will be responsible for updating the Register of Processing Activities (ROPA).
    • You will assist with maintaining data in line with data retention rules.
    • You will update guides on data protection policies and associated training and guidance material.
    • You will assist Data Champions with completing required assessments, including Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA) and Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIA).
    • You will support the recording and tracking of risk events/data breaches.
    • You will be responsible for rolling out and administering Data Protection Training.
    • You will work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team to provide backup support to the QCRA department across Post Market Surveillance, Regulatory Reporting, and QMS administration when required or to cover leave.
    Ethics & Compliance
    • You will administer training completion with HR.
    • You will process requests for Educational Support in line with Eucomed guidelines.
    • You will perform other relevant administrative tasks commensurate with the post.

    Minimum Requirements:
    • You must have previous work experience within administration, with a minimum of two years' experience within compliance and/or data protection.
    • You should have knowledge of GDPR and The Data Protection Act 2018.
    • You must possess strong organisational and personal management skills, capable of operating independently with minimal direction in an environment with multiple, and sometimes conflicting priorities.
    • You should be IT competent, comfortable navigating software packages to manage Data Protection and administrative tasks.
    • You should be able to support multiple business units within Commercial & Clinical MedTech across multiple geographies, including Ireland, UK, and Europe.
    • You should have attention to detail and a proven track record in working with effective administrative processes.
    • You must hold a full driving license and have access to a car for travel between sites.
