    Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Financial Reporting Manager will take ownership of consolidating financial data across all Group entities in a newly created role.

    About the role

    Financial Consolidation

    · Lead the process of consolidating financial data from 70 legal entities across 18 countries.

    · Design and create group, country, product and departmental reports using the consolidated financial data.

    · Provide financial insights for decision-making across the business using the consolidated financial data.

    · Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS or other GAAP).

    Financial Reporting

    · Draft, prepare and analyse consolidated financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

    · Produce consolidated and subsidiary financial statements on an annual basis that are compliant with IFRS or other applicable GAAP.

    · Design and implement a process and system for the production of subsidiary financial statements that can be used across the group.

    · Develop and maintain a robust framework for financial reporting in line with regulatory requirements.

    · Drive accurate and timely reporting processes, ensuring compliance with Waystone Group Policy and reporting requirements.

    · Drive timely and accurate reporting of financial performance, including KPIs relating to items such as debt and working capital.

    · Enhance the quality and timing of financial reporting to our external stakeholders.

    Technical Accounting

    · Draft, design and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with IFRS or other applicable GAAP.

    · Decide the accounting treatment of certain transactions and draft position papers supporting treatment with reference to IFRS or other applicable GAAP.

    · Develop and maintain the Group Accounting manual, presenting it to auditors and training local finance teams on the manual as needed.

    Audit & Compliance

    · Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process, specifically the group financial statements, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit experience.

    · Monitor compliance with internal and external financial regulations.

    · Contribute to Group Policy & Procedure initiatives and ensure adoption and adherence by country.

    · Work with Waystone Internal Audit function to complete internal audits in a timely manner and address any issues that may arise.

    Collaboration

    · Work closely with finance teams across different regions to standardize reporting processes and ensure consistency in financial practices.

    · Collaborate closely with the other group finance functions (tax, treasury, and FP&A).

    · Provide guidance and training to local finance teams on group reporting standards.

    · Drive innovation and enhancement of current management and statutory monthly/annual process constantly seeking improvements.

    Requirements

    · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification is preferred.

    · 5 years+ post qualified experience.

    · Strong understanding of financial reporting, audit processes, and compliance requirements. An in-depth understanding of IFRS accounting standards and understanding of working in a Regulatory environment is preferable.

    · Proven experience in financial consolidation, financial reporting, and policy design within a multinational organization.

    · A good communicator who can delivery important messaging to the business and is able to prepare financial presentations.

    · Advanced proficiency in financial management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Sage Intacct experience is preferable but not necessary.

    · An in-depth understanding of IFRS accounting standards.
