- Manage a portfolio of entities and ledgers producing the monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting
- Completion of month end close procedures and activities, including co-ordination with other Teams (PTP, OTC and tax) to ensure timely completion of month end tasks
- Process all transaction to the ledgers for month end close
- Review variances on all balance sheet accounts as part of the month end close and provide commentary
- Responsible for maintaining the fixed asset register, including IFRS 16, capitalization, depreciation, and amortisation
- Responsible for inventory and cost accounting
- Responsible for the prepayment and accruals process
- Managing the accounts reconciliation according to procedures. Research and clearance of Reconciliation Items & Reconciliation Status Reporting
- Responsible for preparation of journals in the ERP system
- Preparing the statutory and management accounts and checking all the in-scope accounts
- Preferably around 5 years' Accountancy experience in external audit, consultant firms or in the reporting department of an international Group or in a GBS/ SSC structure
- Accounting Qualification and/or Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration with strong interest in and affinity with IT and Business processes
- Additional certification a plus (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, Lean Six Sigma or Equivalent)
- Full fluency in English and and 3rd language (German, Dutch, Spanish) would be an advantage
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA or other ERP
- BPC , Hyperion or other reporting and consolidation software knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work independently, productively and as part of a team
- Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills and ability to liaise with Finance and non-Finance professionals at various levels,
- Excellent organization and time management skills
