    This role is ideal for individuals with experience in warehouse operations, particularly those with additional exposure to gantry crane operations, which would be a significant advantage.

    The position requires excellent coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    The role involves handling goods, loading and unloading vehicles, and ensuring the smooth movement of stock within the warehouse.

    You will have previous experience working in a busy warehouse and be comfortable operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.

    While gantry crane experience is not essential, it would provide a valuable skill set to contribute further to warehouse operations.


    Responsibilities:
    Operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and move stock within the warehouse.
    Handle goods safely, ensuring they are stored correctly and transported without damage.
    Conduct daily vehicle and equipment checks to ensure all machinery operates effectively.
    Assist with stock control, inventory management, and ensuring warehouse efficiency.
    Work collaboratively with the wider warehouse team to meet deadlines and operational targets.
    Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
    Operate a gantry crane (if experienced) for heavy lifting and movement of materials.
    Support general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and order fulfilment.

    Requirements:
    Valid counterbalance forklift licence is essential.
    Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
    Gantry crane experience is a strong advantage but not essential.
    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
    Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
    Physically fit and able to handle manual handling tasks.
