    Description

    We are seeking a seasoned Financial Accountant to support our finance team during the year-end period on a temporary 3-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management accounts and financial reporting, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and finalize monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
    • Support the year-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and the preparation of statutory accounts.
    • Perform variance analysis on financial data to track performance against budgets and forecasts.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records and reconciliations.
    • Assist with the audit process, ensuring all necessary documentation is ready for external auditors.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls.
    • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for senior management as required.

    Requirements

    • Certified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 1+ years of relevant experience.
    • Experience in preparing management accounts and completing year-end financials.
    • Strong understanding of financial reporting and audit processes.
    • Detailed-oriented individual able to manage tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

    The salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum.
