    Warehouse Operative Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at Adriatic Group. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our warehouse.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Picking orders daily, ensuring timely completion and accuracy in preparation for transport or collection.
    • Loading and unloading goods in and out while maintaining accurate records.
    • Participating in annual stock checks and contributing to any necessary overtime.
    • Loading and unloading trucks as required.
    • Liaising with representatives and other departments regarding orders and warehouse operations.
    • Maintaining and cleaning work areas, warehouses, and yards according to our Environmental Policy.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience working in a busy seasonal warehouse environment.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
    • Motivated and willing to go the extra mile to achieve goals.
    • Capacity to build strong customer relationships and collaborate with colleagues.
    • Attention to detail and high accuracy in picking rates.
    • Organized, methodical, and thorough approach to work.
    • Experience working under pressure with large volumes of workloads.
    • High level of professionalism at all times.
    • Able to take clear direction and act upon it.
    • Familiarity with Health and Safety rules and commitment to their prioritization.
    • Confident in using IT systems, scanners, etc.
    • MS NAV experience is an advantage.
    • Manual handling certification is required.
    • Forklift license is an advantage.

    Location and Working Conditions:

    The position is based in Damastown Industrial Park. The expected hours of work are 37-40 per week, with an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday.
