    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Allied Health Nursing.

    This role offers a unique opportunity to provide specialist speech and language therapy services to both adults and children, supporting individuals with communication and swallowing difficulties.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for paediatric and adult clients.
    2. Provide targeted therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication difficulties, as well as dysphagia management.
    3. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and patient-centered care.
    4. Educate and train parents, teachers, and support staff on effective communication strategies.
    5. Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development initiatives.

    Requirements:

    1. Holding a recognized Speech and Language Therapy qualification and CORU registration.
    2. A minimum of three years post-qualification experience, preferably in both paediatrics and adult care.
    3. Experience in dysphagia management is highly desirable.
    4. Demonstrating strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
    5. Possessing a passion for working in a community healthcare setting.
