    Description

    Financial Accountant

    This role is responsible for the preparation of consolidated monthly accounts for multiple legal entities in accordance with IFRS guidelines.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and present accurate and timely consolidated monthly accounts for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS regulations.
    • Develop annual budgets, creating detailed forecasts to inform business decisions.
    • Review and finalize month-end accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Produce comprehensive cash flow forecasts, monitoring financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Prepare annual financial statements under IFRS, meeting strict regulatory requirements.
    • Support audit preparations, collaborating closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth process.

    Experience and Qualifications

    • A minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in a similar financial accounting role, preferably within the industry.
    • Strong background in financial accounting and reporting, with excellent analytical skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
    • Experience gained from a practice environment, with proficiency in financial software tools and systems.
    • Familiarity with IFRS and preparation of financial statements, with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements.

    Educational Requirements

    • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), with a strong educational foundation in accounting principles and practices.
