Quantity Surveyor - PQS

Location: Corbally, Limerick

Job Type: Permanent

Work Location: Office Based

Salary: €50K - 65K (dependent on experience and negotiable)

Experience: 5+ years

Visa Requirements: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our client is a medium-sized Chartered Quantity Surveying practice offering innovative project and cost management solutions on construction and civil engineering projects across Ireland and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pre-contract cost control and advice to clients and design teams
2. Post-contract functions including interim recommendations, cost reporting, client meetings, final account reconciliations
3. Training and development of junior quantity surveyors
4. Estimating and cost planning with direct client reporting
5. Preparing bills of quantities, buildsoft, and cubit documentation
6. Compiling contract documentation
7. Generating cost reports
8. Preparing monthly valuations
9. Finalizing and agreeing accounts
10. Reviewing and resolving contractual claims
11. Attending client and design team meetings

Requirements:

1. Degree-qualified quantity surveyor
2. Chartered status preferred but not mandatory
3. Commercial awareness and ambition to progress within the organization
4. Drive and determination to manage budgets effectively
