    Description

    Medforce Healthcare is currently recruiting healthcare assistants for agency work in Cork, Ireland.

    Working as an agency HCA with Medforce Healthcare will provide you with the flexibility to create a perfect work-life balance.

    Your Key Responsibilities:

    • Assisting patients with personal care tasks such as bathing and dressing.
    • Encouraging and supporting patients in exercises and mobility activities as directed by healthcare professionals.
    • Helping patients with eating and drinking.
    • Aiding in wound care and dressing changes.
    • Maintaining accurate patient records.
    • Ensuring adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols, including health and safety regulations and infection control practices.
    • Recording observations and reporting changes in patient condition.
    • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Demonstrates a caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
    • Possesses excellent communication skills.
    • Has access to a vehicle (desirable).
    • Holds full 8 Modules of QQI/Fetac Level 5 qualification.

    Please note that Medforce is one of multiple Tier 2 suppliers on the panel, all agencies pay the same hourly rates.
