Monitoring Technician - Dublin, Ireland - Reefer Tech (IRL)

Job description Reefer Tech Ireland Ltd is currently seeking a candidate for the position of Reefer Monitoring Technician within the Port Operations department, based in Dublin Port area.

The role will incorporate onsite work and occasionally involve work outside the Dublin Port area (Vehicle supplied for the role) This role will involve reporting directly to the Management Team daily.

Please note that this position requires working outdoors in marine terminals and depots in the Dublin Port area so you will occasionally be working in adverse weather conditions.

Main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Monitoring reefer settings on import/ export reefer containers in marine terminals in the Dublin Port area, plugging and unplugging of import / export cargo.

Resetting reefer containers to fulfil customers booking requirements.

General ad hoc repairs will be required (plug replacement, cable repair etc training will be provided) Candidate Requirements Proficiency in English both spoken and written.

Ability to work under pressure, independently, with initiatives. Driving license (clean of any penalty points) and candidate must be over the age of 25. Some weekend work required as part of shift rotation. On-Call work in hours and out of hours required from time to time.
