Finance Business Partner (Dublin/Hybrid)

Our client, a major player in the Aviation/Airlines sector, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their growing team.

As a Financial Business Partner within the Operational Division, you will play a pivotal role in strategic planning, annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, performance management, investment oversight, and project support.

Along with a competitive base salary, my client is offering pension, bonus and a hybrid working model.

Your Role

• Offer Financial Business Partner support to executive and senior management in the Operational Division.
• Take charge of budgeting, forecasting, and business planning, encompassing CAPEX and OPEX elements.
• Thoroughly assess investment proposals and business cases, providing valuable financial insights on costs and benefits.
• Collaborate with functional management to identify and implement medium to long-term initiatives that capitalise on revenue opportunities, address operational challenges, and realise cost reductions.
• Develop KPIs, forward-looking business reviews, and commercially oriented forecasts. Analyse performance variances and work with business managers to identify corrective actions.
• Provide in-depth analysis of financial results for the Operational Division, presenting strategic and tactical KPIs to the senior team.

Your Skills

• Qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years PQE
• Knowledge of airline or aviation business a plus
• Strong relationship builder
• Ability to lead large improvement initiatives and projects
• Excellent analytical ability
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software applications combined with general proficiency in IT systems
• Focused attitude to work
• Ability to constantly meet deadlines while ensuring excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
