    The Role.

    GMC are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team.

    This is a permanent position in our Operations Team working on projects for clients which include ESB.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Project Planning: Planning and overseeing electrical projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
    • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conducting tests on electrical systems and components, identifying, and resolving issues.
    • Equipment Maintenance: Managing the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    • Research and Development: Engaging in research to stay updated on new technologies and incorporating innovations into projects.
    • Safety Compliance: Ensuring that electrical systems comply with safety standards and regulations.
    • Collaboration: Collaborating with other engineers and professionals in multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
    • Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for electrical designs, specifications, and project plans.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction in electrical systems and processes.

    The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:

    • Experience in producing Risk assessments and Method Statements,
    • Quality assurance background desirable,
    • Commissioning experience on electrical systems, preferable EV Charger equipment,
    • Good IT skills, desirable proficient in CAD,
    • Proficient in Work Management Systems (WMS),
    • Full clean driver's license essential.
    • Has the ability to travel and conduct site surveys,
    • Experience in civil works desirable,
    • Manpower Management and reporting
    • Confident, motivated and can work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
    • Time management abilities to meet targets.
    • Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
    • Integrity and respect for confidentiality and privacy.
