Commercial Manager My client, an organisation responsible for the management, development, and promotion of an extensive portfolio of visitor attractions is currently seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager with expertise in Business and Financial Management


Role Overview:
The Commercial Manager will report to the Head of Commercial and Shared Services.

This position demands a strategic and operational approach to maximise commercial activities and offers a chance to make a significant impact within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial and commercial operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Manage workloads to optimise resource use and meet organisational objectives. Lead the finance team, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Handle payroll, employee benefits, and statutory returns. Develop business systems and assist with financial audits. Engage in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/weekly reporting. Implement internal controls for revenue channels and develop business plans. Manage tenant relations and lease obligations. Provide financial support for capital project management. Offer analytical support to the Management Team and Board for strategic decisions.


Requirements:
Proven experience in internal controls and procedures in a medium to large business. Proficiency in Microsoft products and financial management systems like Oracle. Excellent project management, decision-making, communication, and influencing skills. Experience in tourism services or visitor attractions would be advantageous. Degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Commercial/Financial management role. Full, clean driving licence.
