    We are delighted to be partnering with a Global Real Estate and Investment firm who are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Dublin.

    This role would be an excellent opportunity for Newly Qualified Accountants looking to transition into the Real Estate industry.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Monthly journals, accruals and prepayments will require meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
    • P&L review and balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany transactions necessitate accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Reviewing sales invoices and implementing strict revenue recognition principles is crucial for maintaining financial integrity.
    • Approving employee expenses and supplier invoices demands a high level of proficiency with MS Excel and financial IT systems.
    • VAT returns and analysis require a strong understanding of tax regulations and ability to communicate complex data effectively.
    • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth reporting processes and adherence to deadlines is essential for success.
    • Preparation of financial statements and statutory year-end audit requires liaising with auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Additional ad-hoc projects may arise, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are vital for this role.
    • Experience in monthly reporting and statutory audit is highly desirable.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, respond to changing demands and prioritize work effectively is essential.
