    Job Summary:

    This role involves a variety of tasks, including loading stock onto delivery vehicles, unloading stock and placing it into storage areas, checking goods in and out for accuracy, and reporting any issues to the supervisor.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Loading stock from staging areas onto delivery vehicles and adhering to scanning and checking procedures.
    • Unloading stock and placing it into correct areas for put away.
    • Checking goods in and goods out for accuracy as per manifest provided.
    • Reporting faults, damages, or errors to the supervisor on duty immediately.
    • Completion of appropriate paperwork at each stage.

    Logistics:

    • Picking, packing, and preparing goods for shipment according to customer specifications.
    • Stock put away and replenishment of pick faces as necessary.
    • Conducting regular cycle counts and assisting with stock takes.
    • Communicating issues with supervisor and logistics coordinator to ensure quality of shipments.
    • Adhering to quality control procedures to ensure pick accuracy.

    Health and Safety:

    • Supporting health and safety by adhering to company policy.
    • Safely operating Material Handling Equipment and warehouse machinery.
    • Reporting accidents, incidents, near misses, or health and safety concerns and cooperating with investigations.

    Administration and Communication:

    • Maintaining communication with Freight, Logistics, and Transport departments.
    • Regularly referring to the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accuracy of information.
    • Understanding warehouse layout and processes and communicating suggestions for improvement.
    • Completing and processing necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
    • Responding quickly, professionally, and accurately to customer inquiries regarding orders, status complaints, etc.
    • Cooperating with investigations by Logistics and Quality Departments to satisfy customer inquiries.
