    We are looking for:

    We are looking for our next Controls Assurance Analyst based in our growing EMEA Controls Assurance team in our office in Dublin

    Your team:

    The EMEA Controls Assurance team is responsible for oversight of Front Office Control Management and Risk mitigation processes within Invesco's EMEA based investment centres. We provide Investment Teams with insightful analysis on their business risk profile and control effectiveness to support their decision-making capabilities. We are a key partner to the Investment Teams to enable them to adhere to their regulatory and organisational requirements.

    Your role:

    We're searching for an Analyst for our team in Dublin. You will be involved in delivering Controls Assurance process to all EMEA Investment Teams. You will be responsible for ensuring risk exposure is accurately assessed and the controls to mitigate these risks are effectively designed and operating efficiently. This is a key requirement to ensure the Front Office business has implemented effective risk management processes and is adhering to all necessary regulatory and organisational obligations.

    You will also be involved in:

  • Working directly with Senior Front Office Managers to understand and assess the inherent risks faced as a business and the control processes in place to manage these risks.
  • Undertaking detailed analysis of Control Processes to understand their effectiveness and define the residual risk we face as a business.
  • Provide reporting to the Investment Business making recommendations as to improve and evolve the control environment and implement improved risk mitigation processes. Thus, enabling enhanced business operation and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and maintain the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process by liaising with Senior Management to ensure the accuracy of this information. Disseminate any output across the organisation working with and other Business Leaders and governance committees.
  • You'll need to have:

  • Excellent understanding of the asset management and investment process and financial instruments
  • Experience in asset and investment management or consulting firms in investment risk, compliance or control functions
  • Strong digital literacy
  • Management and comprehension of financial data
  • Ability to demonstrate how you effectively operate in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • How you can empower yourself and manage your time effectively
  • Being able to work under pressure
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience of leading programs of work
