About the specific team/role introTrust & Safety Risk Analysis Team (RA Team) is dedicated to early detecting external risks including but not limited to public opinion risks, regulatory and policy challenges, assessing risky events or Trust & Safety issue verticals, forecasting on geopolitical issues by conducting both reactive and proactive research.
Coupled with visualisation and analytics tools, these insights helps multiple stakeholders across ByteDance to make informed business decisions and plan operations in confidence.
It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
Some content viewed may violate our community guidelines which include but are not limited to bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.
What will I be doing?- Monitor and analyze public perception towards company products through analyzing news reports, social media, and database- Research and analyze various regulatory information including but not limited to legislation and law enforcement for cybersecurity, data privacy and social media regulations in Sub Saharan Africa countries- Produce internal reports on public perception and policy development routinely- Collaborate with key stakeholders in the company to work on various public perception and policy-related projectsWhat should I bring with me?- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferably in journalism, political science, international relations, public policy, law, risk management or related field- 1-3 years of full-time experience in tech, risk management or related field- Proficiency in any Sub Saharan African languages, French or Portuguese Trust & Safety recognises that keeping our platform safe for TikTok communities is no ordinary job which can be both rewarding and psychologically demanding and emotionally taxing for some.
