    Safety Lead
    An experienced and proactive individual to join our Sisk team as a Safety Lead. The Safety Lead will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and overseeing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure and healthy work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead safety initiatives across various departments.

    You Will
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program aligned with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
  • Stay abreast of local, state, and federal safety regulations, ensuring the organization's compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess compliance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Identify potential safety hazards in the workplace and conduct risk assessments
  • Work with relevant departments to develop and implement strategies for mitigating identified risks.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Ensure that all employees are aware of and trained on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Lead investigations into safety incidents, accidents, and near misses.
  • Analyze root causes and recommend preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
  • Conduct regular drills to test the effectiveness of emergency procedures.
  • Facilitate open communication channels regarding safety concerns between management and employees.
  • Develop and distribute safety-related communications and materials.
  • Implement a continuous improvement mindset within the safety program.
  • Regularly review and update safety policies and procedures based on emerging trends and incidents.
  • You will have
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • NEBSOH Construction Certificate or equivalent
  • Proven experience in safety management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Experience conducting safety training sessions.
  • Familiarity with behavior-based safety programs.
  • Proficiency in using safety management software.
