    Purpose Statement

    The Global Sourcing function is supported by executing sourcing events and providing analysis to Strategic Sourcing management.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Develop supplier performance review metrics & scorecards
    2. Provide spend analysis reports
    3. Execute sourcing events: Price negotiations, Vendor quote tracking, Supplier selection, Contract review and approval
    4. Take a strategic view of sourcing, identifying innovative sources and contracts
    5. Support stakeholder alignment
    6. Support Sourcing Managers in planning and project execution
    7. Analyze suppliers using available information
    8. Lead supplier Performance development activities and Management reviews
    9. Perform Category Management for projects with limited complexity
    10. Achieve annual cost savings targets
    11. Negotiate payment terms with suppliers
    12. Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance
    13. Engage with Stakeholders and the Indirect Sourcing Team
    14. Other assignments as needed

    Qualifications & Experience

    1. NFQ level 8 in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar discipline
    2. Min 3-5 years experience in a similar role
    3. Medical Device experience desirable
    4. Engineering background desirable but not essential
    5. Strong relationship building and stakeholder management experience
