    The Job

    As a key part of the operations leadership team, you will manage the financial operations for 2 manufacturing sites in Ireland, lead and mentor the 5-person accounts team, and oversee their ongoing duties. Your responsibilities include:

    • Managing the month-end and annual close processes
    • Managing the AP and AR functions on both sites
    • Ensuring accuracy in financial operations
    • Analysing corporate/business financial processes
    • Providing financial insights and advice to the leadership team
    • Controlling budgets and leading financial projects

    Your Skills/Experience

    We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller with:

    • A 3rd level degree qualification
    • Fully qualified accountant status
    • 4-5+ years industry experience in a finance manager or financial controller role (senior accountants with people management experience will also be considered)
    • Experience gained in a multinational manufacturing type of environment (this is a significant advantage)
    • Excellent IT skills, including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications
    • Experience/knowledge in using ERP systems would be an advantage
    • Proven ability to work on your own initiative and manage projects

    The Offer

    This job is being offered as a 12-month contract basis. The salary and overall package will depend on skills and experience but are expected to range up to approx. €85,000 per year. In addition, there will be pension, healthcare entitlement, educational assistance, and other benefits on offer. This role will be a hybrid mix of 3 days in the office in Shannon and 2 days working from home/remote. Candidates without the relevant visa/work permit to live and work in Ireland will not be considered.
