The role of this position is to provide comprehensive support to our clients in all aspects of their daily lives. This includes delivering care services in the comfort of their own homes, ensuring that every interaction is characterized by a safe, compassionate, and caring approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering personal care, including toileting, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, Dementia, or high dependency needs; supervising medication administration; performing light housekeeping and assisting with basic shopping requirements.
• FOLLOWING THE CLIENT'S CARE PLAN: A customized guide outlining the specific services required to meet each individual's unique needs.
• Facilitating social interactions and activities, providing companionship, and promoting a sense of connection and belonging.
• Maintaining a strong rapport with clients and their families through active listening, engagement, and open communication.
• Ensuring punctuality, managing time effectively, and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
• Maintaining confidentiality at all times, adhering to strict policy guidelines.
• Collaborating with the office team to address any changes or concerns regarding client needs or care requirements.
• Reporting and documenting incidents promptly and accurately.
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations, ensuring a secure environment for both clients and staff.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Possess QQI level 5 in Healthcare with relevant modules completed or in progress (or equivalent qualifications).
• Hold a clean Garda Vetting Certificate and International Police Clearance Certificate (if applicable).
• Be willing to undergo a medical examination to obtain a medical fitness certificate for work purposes.
• Demonstrate possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as well as proficiency in using Google Maps to locate client residences.
• Exhibit experience working within a healthcare environment.
• Show ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
• Demonstrate reliability, dedication, diligence, and trustworthiness, with a deep understanding of GDPR principles and their importance when working with vulnerable populations.
• Display fluency in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet eligibility criteria to work in the Republic of Ireland.
