    Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Legal Disruptions Coordinator to join the Customer Service team of Europe's largest airline group.

    This role offers an excellent opportunity to join Ryanair as we expand our operations and grow our passenger numbers within the next decade.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • The classification of flights according to circumstances surrounding the disruption, available evidence and CJEU/ National Court interpretation given on Reg. EU/261
    • Collaborate with Operations Control Centres in Dublin and Warsaw to prepare and organize evidence reflecting decision-making processes and customer support measures during flight disruptions.
    • Work with external law firms to address barriers to success and maximize court success rates.
    • Engage with Base Captains to ensure a panel of suitable individuals can attend court as required.
    • Support Customer Service Agents and external legal teams handling claims, ensuring compliance with internal policy and litigation procedures.
    • Prepare and provide legal training for Customer Service Agents, Operations, and Paralegal teams to improve knowledge and defense capabilities in various jurisdictions.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of passenger rights and relevant EU/national legislation.
    • Respond to queries from in-house and external legal teams regarding flight classification, reasons for disruption, and Operations evidence interpretation.
    • Proactively collect documentation essential for case handling and keep the CS legal folder up-to-date.
    • Identify knowledge gaps and provide training to in-house and external legal teams, as well as other stakeholders as needed.

    Requirements:

    • 1+ years' experience in Operations, Newskies, or Flight Disruptions-related positions.
    • Ability to understand, interpret, and explain evidence materials and complex matters related to flights operations.
    • Understanding of Ops and CS Booking systems, with knowledge of internal Ryanair tools being an advantage.
    • Some legal background or experience with Regulation EU 261/04 and Reg. 1107/2006 would be beneficial.
    • Microsoft Office proficiency.
