    Janssen sciences, is recruiting for an IT MLL Manufacturing Execution Systems Lead, located in Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland.

    This position reporting to the TS Site Service owner will have TS Manufacturing, Logistics and Labs (MLL) management accountability for the application and infrastructure platform Build (Development) and Run (Support) services, for the MES System (PASx) at the Janssen, Ringaskiddy site in Cork

    This individual will be accountable for aligning processes across Shared Services teams into a common set of processes, and for delivering DevOps services. This will include leading the monitoring of application and platform performance, service health performance metrics, development for projects and improvements, ticketing and resolution of incidents, resolution of identified problems, execution of releases associated TLM and Problem Management.

    The preferred candidate will have deep knowledge of Manufacturing processes and driving innovation in the Pharmaceutical Industry. They will be directly responsible for the management of contracted resources via a third-party and through other organizations. Experience in a complex environment and leading support teams is required. In this role they will mentor teams to collaborate and build a positive overall support service delivery experience for customers.

    Key Responsibilities :

    • Provides technical knowledge, expertise and hands-on experience in the maintenance and support of the MES system (PASx).
    • Management contracted support and delivery teams
    • Ensure IT uptime and operations reliability and IT services are delivered per SLA
    • Is the Site MES SME for all Quality, Audit and regulatory affair queries and support
    • Ensure all applicable systems are validated by working with Quality Assurance and CSV departments
    • Provide innovative ways of problem solving and implementing system improvements across the MLL team in cork.
    • Align on standards and deliver on solutions of Shared Services organization
    • Participate in projects related to manufacturing systems
    • Ensure End-to-end IT risk management at the MES (Pasx) System including lifecycle management, information security, and GxP.
    • Serves as source of functional understanding of processes, tools and integration of MLL plant equipment with IT platforms (PI, Werum, SAP, LIMS, Loftware....)
    • Interacts with multiple partners – Product Owners, Execution systems, Manufacturing, and TS IT teams
    • Partner with Site Service Lead to define and implement Service Lifecycle and roadmap and continuous Improvement Plans for the Janssen Cork site.
    • Provide Level 3 (L3) technical support and handle critical issues from L2/L1 support teams. Prioritize and manage problem tickets to product vendors and track resolutions.
    • Communicates back to the Business Technology Leads and Product Line teams, on status on the delivery of features, functionality, and applications
    • Provide input to Product Line Owners for future requirements, especially key business capabilities, and the associated value to the Product Line – as an input to shape the product strategy
    • Handle customer issues where needed for incidents and service requests
    • Ensure incidents and problems are followed up if/when needed for root cause investigation and preventative action
    Qualifications

    Qualifications Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

    Experience and Skills: Required:

    • 5-10 years experience supporting Supply Chain/Manufacturing
    • Experience in MES (PASx) application administration and support
    • Infrastructure Experience\knowledge in Server and Networks
    • Experience in GxP systems, Computer System Validation and proven track record in the support of FDA regulated systems and business
    • Ability to work and lead in a Complex/ Virtual team environment
    • Ability to manage a high level of complexity, as well as the ability to successfully manage multiple critical issues simultaneously and experience in working with multiple competing partners and priorities
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, strong negotiating skills, and the ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with exceptional service orientation are all requirements for this position

    Preferred:

    • Working knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks including but not limited to ITIL
    • Self-motivated problem solver who thrives in a dynamic and focused environment
    • Strong problem solving, analytical skills and sense of urgency
    • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
    • Understanding the business impact of different solutions and the ability to assess the impact and communicate the tradeoffs between business needs, technology requirements, timelines, costs, and risks is required
