    Description

    Reporting to the VP Sales, as an Account Executive, your primary focus will be on acquiring new clients within the mid-range segment of the Business Expense market across all industries. You will play a vital role in expanding the company's customer base and driving revenue growth.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Business Development Strategies: Develop and implement effective business development

    strategies to engage and convert mid-market prospects into clients. This includes understanding client needs, positioning the company's solutions, delivering compelling presentations, and demonstrating the value of our offerings.

    2. Sales Process Management: Take ownership of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL's), from initial outreach and qualification to contract negotiation and closing deals. Collaborate with internal teams, such as product specialists and sales admin, to ensure smooth onboarding and successful closing.

    3. Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers of mid-market and Enterprise organisations. Understand their pain points, business objectives, and challenges, and position the company as a trusted advisor and solution provider.

    4. Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals within the mid-market segment. Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue generation,

    identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and drive customer satisfaction and retention.

    5. Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer success, to align strategies, share market insights, and ensure consistent messaging and customer experience.

    6. Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline management using CRM systems. Generate regular sales reports, provide sales forecasts, and communicate progress to sales leadership.

    Requirements


    • Proven track record of success in mid-market sales or business development in the Irish market


    • Experience of selling into the finance department of mid-market and Enterprise customers an advantage


    • Understanding of financial technology products, services, and relevant industry trends preferable


    • Excellent networking, negotiation, and communication skills


    • Ability to analyse customer needs, propose tailored solutions, and present value propositions effectively.


    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and target-driven with a passion for achieving sales goals.


    • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools for pipeline management, reporting, and sales

    analytics.


    • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
