    Position Overview

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable plant enthusiast to join our growing business as a Customer Experience and Operations Associate. This role will involve managing our online store and nursery, assisting with office plant maintenance, and coordinating event and workshop logistics.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Nursery Administration
    • Manage online orders using the Shopify platform - process orders, track stock levels, update products and webpage development.
    • Packing plants for orders carefully, quality control of products, and cross-checking customer orders to ensure accurate delivery.
    • Coordinating with the courier company for order collection and delivery.
    • Maintain plant inventory health, including watering, pruning, pest management, and more.
    • Promote our services using social media platforms and email marketing.
    1. Client Administration
    • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients for plant consultations in offices and for events.
    • Plan and organise quotes/plant proposals for potential clients.
    • Follow up on customer email enquiries within timeframes and with attentiveness to ensure a positive experience for customers.
    1. Office Plant Maintenance and Event Hire
    • Execute large scale plant installations of customized greenery solutions for corporate spaces and events.
    • Conduct regular visits to client offices on maintenance routes around the city.
    • Ensure the highest standard of care for plants on-site at client locations.
    1. Workshop Assisting
    • Assist with organising and hosting team building workshops for large corporate teams.
    • Engage with attendees during workshops, answering questions and offering support on plant care.

    Requirements

    • Experience: At least 2 years in horticulture, plant care or a related field is preferred.
    • Plant knowledge: Understanding of plant species and care techniques is preferred.
    • Skills: Proficiency and experience in ecommerce (Shopify) and Microsoft Office/Google Suite and familiarity with social media (Instagram, Facebook).
    • Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Passion for Ecology: A commitment to eco-friendly and sustainable practices.
    • Adaptability: Ability to thrive with many varied tasks and administrative tasks.
    • Drivers License: Ideally a driver's license that permits driving a van.
    • Physical requirements: Ability to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and plant loading/unloading.
