    Description

    Overview We are seeking locum Consultant Geriatrician (2 posts), who would be dedicated and passionate in helping us to provide outstanding and exemplary care for frail older patients in our hospital and off-site rehabilitation beds.

    We can support you to develop your subspecialty interests (for example, in orthogeriatrics , acute frailty care, dementia, stroke, delirium, movement disorders, falls, continence care, rehabilitation or community geriatrics) and we fully support the development of skills in education, management and leadership.

    The post-holders will work with nine other Consultant Geriatricians in providing a range of services for older people with complex needs, and so you will have a supportive and friendly team around you, providing plenty of scope for you to showcase your skills and to develop professionally.

    Applicants should be able to demonstrate extensive experience in Medicine for Older People and must be in possession (or anticipated to shortly be in possession) of their CCST in General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine.

    Applicants are required to be on the Specialist Register for General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine.
