O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for a Construction Estimator for our Client. Our Client is an international client with various ongoing projects across Ireland. They are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join their team on a Social Housing project based in Co. Kildare. The Successful candidate must have minimum 5 years' experience in an Estimating role, ideally with a main contractor.

Estimator's responsibilities will be:

To support the Business development manager in all pre-contract commercial matters
Responsible for the preparation of the tender for all construction projects
Preparation of estimates
Prepare & send out tender enquiries to supply chain & review quotations received
Preparation of sub-contractor & supplier enquiries & contract documents
Liaising with clients, design team, sub-contractors & suppliers
File tender documentation in accordance with the company procedure & attend handover meeting to brief the construction team
Updating of Materials database and Discount Database for estimating system
Keep accurate tendering records accurate and efficient including drawing registers, specifications, and correspondences from clients

Estimator's Requirements Include:

3rd Level Degree in Civil engineering or Quantity surveying or similar
5 + years' experience in an estimating role is desired
Must have knowledge of the Public Works Contracts & NEC
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Build Soft, BIM & PowerPoint
Ability to multi task & work in a fast paced environment to tight deadlines & budgets
Must be organised and good at presentation work
