General Manager – MunsterEuro Executive Recruitment has been retained to recruit a General Manager for our Construction and Engineering solutions client. This role has overall responsibility for business development and operational performance in the Munster region. The successful candidate will be responsible for motivating and encouraging all the employees in the Munster region to meet and exceed targets and goals in accordance with the year-on-year business plans. The role will be based in our clients Cork facility.Candidates for this role will be required to have pre-existing relationships with Construction and Engineering stakeholders across the Munster region.Excellent package on offer to the successful candidate including salary, healthcare, pension, company vehicle and annual bonus.The Role: * Manage sales growth strategy through effective client management, new business capture, tender and proposal development and retaining and growing existing business. * Together with the existing sales team, seek out new areas to drive revenue growth, generate new business sales and develop an overall business strategy for the Munster region. * Identify, manage, and communicate to any new clients an awareness of all our product offerings, establish key customer profiles in a company data base and maintain accurate customer information for the Munster region. * Provide timely and accurate sales forecasting and reporting. * Through innovation and creativity, you will generate new ideas, new business, cross selling, and up selling of all our products. * Oversee all aspects of our sales generation from proposal preparation to submission of estimate ensuring that they are technically accurate and compelling bids that are submitted in a timely manner. * The prime objective will be to achieve target revenue and profit growth levels across the business in the Munster region. * The creation of policies, processes and strategies that help the branch to run efficiently and profitably. * Have oversight of the day-to-day operations of the branch and rectify any issues that may affect sales, execution of contracts or delivery of service. * Create a working environment, which is favourable for the motivation of the team and a high work output. * Monitor the performance of both the internal and external service providers * Attend Group Sales Board Meetings, where you will engage and support the Group’s Sales objectives and initiatives.Requirements: * 10 years + experience at management level within the Construction/ Engineering industry. * Proven Sales and Operational Management record. * Excellent Communication skills. * Excellent Stakeholder Management skills. * Proven Service and Maintenance contract management is preferred. * Strong awareness of Construction, Engineering and Architectural Practice stakeholders in the Munster region.For more information on this vacancy please contact Denis Casey or to apply, click 'Apply Now
