Experienced Business Development Manager ideally with experience of solutions sales within IT/Telecoms and into the Public Sector.Role ProfileTo implement a sales strategy in line with business objectivesTo manage, coach and develop the existing Sales staffAct as an interface to ensure the various Telent departments and resources are aligned to maximise all revenue opportunities whilst ensuring the ?quality of customer experience? is paramount.Build a successful commercial relationship at senior levels within accounts, to maximise future opportunities and also secure and protect current revenue streams.Influence the customers buying criteria and decision-making by effective communication at all customer management levels.To assist in the formulation, development and management of the Business Strategy for the Irish business.Keep abreast of current and proposed market developments, both commercial and regulatory, in technology, market and competitive surroundings.To look at current products, both in UK and Irish portfolio, and refresh/develop new products to meet current/future market requirements.To manage supplier liaison at a strategic level to ensure products and objectives of Telent and their suppliers are alignedTo formulate a management strategy for key current and future suppliersPromote an effective Safety, Health and Environment culture, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment within area of operation.Maintain a secure working environment in line with the requirements of the Telent Security Policy in order to protect individuals, information and Telent assets.Typical DeliverablesAchievement of Ireland Sales TargetsSecurement of sufficient New Business in order to achieve Company invoiced sales objectivesMonthly sales management reportsSetting Targets for all A.C managers in Ireland and managing sales team against those targetsDeveloping business into new sectors in IrelandReporting to Head of Ireland on Go to Market plans, sales strategy and pipeline on a monthly basisBeing an Active member in the Ireland Management teamAssisting with Customer escalations relating to Commercial issues.Business Operations Skills ? Experience3 + years? experience in PMR/Cellular/Telecoms/Communications systems related industryBusiness Operations Skills ?
