Technical Support Engineer (Mac/Windows) – 6 Month Contract - IrelandLomax is looking for two Technical Support Engineer’s to provide on-site end-user support. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers install applications and programs.As an End User Technical Support you are responsible for resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support.To be successful you must have excellent interpersonal and technical skills.Capable of troubleshooting problems accurately and can deal with a variety of situations and personalities. You must have a broad skill set to help end users with complex software and hardware applications.Technical Support Engineer Requirements * Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Technician or similar * Hands-on experience with mainly Apple macOS environment, covering MAC hardware (laptops, desktops and mini) * Good understanding of computer systems and mobile devices * Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues including Networking * Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills * Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal * BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field * Additional certification in IOS, Mac, Microsoft is a bonusLocationCo Westmeath, IrelandRemuneration200 € per dayLomax Recruitment Group is a Milton Keynes Recruitment Agency proving recruitment services throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide
